What is wipe new made of

We have had it for the past few years and I was excited to see if the Wipe New had any effect here. First we washed the boat and made sure it was very dry. And then we pulled out the Wipe New to see if it could restore some of the s original color. Immediately I noticed the deepening of the brown.

I did all the dark brown parts first but realized that I should just do the whole thing. Even the light brown parts were restored really nicely in color and it was really encouraging because it says it protects too. It looks so much better. I wonder if it was even more effective on the boat because it was fading from water? Lastly we tried it on our red Polaris and this baby needed a little help. We bought it used and the plastic hood has some weird color effect on it from water or a tarp or something.
